The Mike Cowdroy and Intensive Care Foundation Education Grant is open to registered intensive care nurses working in rural and regional areas of Australia and New Zealand. The grant of up to AUD$2,000 is intended to cover travel, registration and per diem expenses of one rural critical care nurse to attend the ANZICS/ACCCN Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) or other critical care-related conference or course.
Peter and Annie Cowdroy established the Mike Cowdroy and Intensive Care Foundation Trust in memory of their son, Mike Cowdroy, a well-known country rock musician from the band Southbound, who died in intensive care after a horrific car crash in 2003.
Applications for the 2018 Mike Cowdroy and Intensive Care Foundation Grant are now invited. Please check the Mike_Cowdroy_Grant_Guidelines_2018 for details.
The Mike_Cowdroy_Application_Form_2018 should be completed and forwarded to the Foundation by the closing date Friday, 6 July 2018 6pm (AEST).
