The Intensive Care Foundation is dedicated to improving the care of critically ill patients by raising funds for clinical research projects and the education of health professionals responsible for intensive care.
We have now awarded almost $4 million in Research Grants, funding many projects which have been vital to helping save lives.
We are committed to fostering the talent of novice researchers and providing seed funding for larger studies.
Every year the Foundation seeks high quality research projects to fund. All Foundation-funded research must be consistent with the National Health and Medical Research Council guidelines on research practice with the NHMRC guidelines of human and animal experimentation and the privacy act.
The 2024 Intensive Care Foundation Grant round will begin in March 2024.
This two-stage process begins with an initial assessment of EOIs followed by an invitation to selected applicants to submit a detailed application.
Interested applicants are advised to keep an eye on the ‘Applying for a Grant’ page for regular updates on the process, guidelines, forms and relevant deadlines.
