Fundraising for the Foundation

Fundraising for the Foundation

Thank you to all of our donors.

At least 4 new research projects will be able to be funded, thanks to the commitment and generosity of the ANZ Intensive Care Foundation donors who attended the inaugural intimate fundraising dinner on a balmy evening in March.

The dinner, held in the grounds of Cranlana in Toorak, and hosted by the Myer family, raised over $100,000 and much of the funding was from new audiences who were so inspired by the night.

The Chair of the Foundation fundraising committee, Professor David Tuxen said “We sincerely thank everyone who organised and attended this dinner and made a donation. It was a fantastic night of food, music and entertainment and everyone who attended commented on the brilliant speech by Dr Jessica Schults, our awardee of a scholarship in 2021. She had flown down from Brisbane specifically for the event and captivated the audience. It was our most successful fundraising dinner to date, and we expect this to be the start of a series of events across various cities raising much needed funds and awareness for the Foundation.”

The ANZ Intensive Care Foundation extends thanks to everyone involved in the dinner, and especially to: Lady Marigold Southey AC, Dame Janet Spooner DGSJ OAM and Dr Dashiell Gantner.
